These afghans are adult size. Some afghans (like Snowglories), although smaller than a normal adult size afghan, can be used by adults as lap afghans (lapghans) when a smaller lightweight afghan is needed, or as wheelchair afghans. Also, please check the Baby/Child Afghans (marked with *) if you're looking for lapghans. There are many afghans there that aren't necessarily for babies. Any afghan can be made in your choice of colors. Knitted afghans are generally priced a bit higher than crocheted afghans because they take quite a bit longer to complete. Unless otherwise stated, all afghans are made of 100% acrylic and are machine washable and dryable. However, I suggest washing anything handmade on the gentle or delicate cycle in cold water. And don't forget that hand-made afghans make great wedding, shower, and anniversary gifts. They even make great Christmas gifts.
