These afghans are appropriate for babies or small children. Some can also be used as adult lap afghans, such as Snowglories, when you want something to take the chill out without having to use a bigger, heavier afghan. Any afghan can be made in the colors of your choice. All afghans are machine washable and dryable. However, I suggest washing anything handmade on the gentle or delicate cycle in cold water. And don't forget that baby afghans make a great shower or new baby gift. They even make great Christmas gifts for babies and toddlers.
